Viewing the Horizon...
Moved to Syros a week ago , for the Winter season.
The air is different.
Being under the sky and upon a pile of sand while your view "is" Horizon - is transforming.
Oneness is crystal clear like the sea's surface on a calm & sunny day.
A sweet bee buzzed by me for a moment, like she was "checking me out" - i consider it a good omen.
Unpacking and settling was quick & easy. Marley got enthusiastic - first time looking till the Horizon and oh the difference of smells !
They roamed the sky within a specific radius as a flock, but *inside the lines* there seemed to be chaos. Each one on his own route, riding an air-wave, loopin for one's self.
Yet, the overall image was absolutely harmonious.
It was similar but also contrary to a school of fishes which share a Flow and move in complete synchronization.
Either way, it's Universe actualized "in the little things of Life".
Lucky me, the seagulls feed on a nearby field and the house in on a cliff so if i miss them all i have to do is just go to the yard and enjoy. Perks of island-living #1 .
Perks of island-living #2 is being within the Sea's aura.
I'm certain it's purifying in a way similar to salt-cleansing.
We are just not -conscious- enough. The "take one deep breath" prompt can be actualized within Awareness & Consciousness and thus we can breath in a more holistic manner.
It seems that whatever exhaled is automatically dissolved.
So far, what's taken my breath away was a moment of happiness when Marley got accustomed to a cat that got interested in us & roamed around for a while. Maybe she's the one i gave tuna the other day - don't recall. Anyhow, they co-existed in the yard so hopes up for friendship .
He's a very adaptive fella. Point his bed, set food&water spot and the rest is a matter of moments. Current "task" is to get him used to people passing by the yard. Eventually we'll "get there".
Happy times are ensured for him as there's a tiny canyon close by. It's deep enough to be completely safe from the road and long enough to explore and sniff the World. [i owe a picture of his ebony awesomeness]
Journey wise, i found out that there is a women monastery on the island, located at Kini.
Kini is a tiny fishermen village where i strolled as a baby and a kid.
The monastery is devoted to St.Barbara, known in the Eastern Orthodox Church as the Great Martyr Barbara. She was an early christian Lebanese & Greek saint and martyr. Accounts place her in the 3rd century in Asia Minor (Anatolia) or in Heliopolis Phoenicia, present-day Baaldek,Lebanon.
St.Barbara's "the end - credits" : She refused her father's (Dioskouros) will to marry an idolater and he reported her to the roman authorities for being a Christian. Barbara got her godly halo for retaining her faith while facing death penalties.
With my Faith and upon my Path...
The "Actualization" News are ... #ProjectBeeGR is under construction.
An artistic & activistic project to "pollinate Awareness & #SaveTheBees" .
It's just starting to form but i hope it'll forever support bees of the World. Because extinction is a current threat and extreme weather phenomena around the world just makes it a certainty - if tactile support isn't actualized every time.
KarmaHoneyProject and WarnerMusicStudios helped the bees of Puerto Rico with an immense action. Visit KHP's twitter profile and watch the pinned video [1:16]
Winter is the Time for all busy bees to stay inHive and do their introverted work while cooperating with their community aka the collective.
That's my plan too, in general. All kinds of paths are to be walked within this Winter. Eso & Extro ones. May God bless & the odds be ever in my/our favour.
If part of your Eso work includes philosophy and/or stoicism,
note that every Wednesday evening Benny-the Stoic Padawan hosts a Twitter SPACE devoted to Stoicism and the school's Way of contemplating Life combined with practices for everyday-issues. The topics vary but are all under the umbrella of "Stoicism".
The latest SPACE was about "Eudaimonia and how can we achieve it?" where speakers from all over the world , shared their experiences and insights about the journey to Eudaimonia.
Spare some Mind and listen to it [1h:40m], or "save the date" and see you within the next one.

P.S: In regards to the Mass and it's mischievous acts - i'm so sorry for them. for what they did, for how they were/are. Greece is NOT that, even though some greeks are drowned in their pathe (guilt or complex or whatever quality of metaprismatic ego). I'm sorry for myself too because, no-matter-what, i don't deserve such sickery but it's 2022 and they seem to be *nothingties* that want to remain on surface and keep on polluting in oh so many ways.
Each person on his Path and with his own Karma .
P.S: Lovely rains, eh ?

- Take care -
